Suggested Prayers

We have included some prayers that you might find helpful if you are struggling to reach out to God.

The prayer that Jesus taught us:

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours, now and forever.

Do not worry about anything.  Talk to God about everything.  Thank Him for what you have.  Ask Him for what you need.

Then God will give you peace, a peace that is too wonderful to understand.  

That peace will keep your hearts and minds safe as you trust in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 (WE version)

Lord God, who was and is and is to come,

help us to remember that we are your children,

help us to remember to whom we belong.

May we never forget that we were bought with a price.

Help us to love and serve you as we work in your kingdom.

Amen.

We believe that our God, the creator of all life and beauty, who blesses our journey through life.

We believe that Jesus Christ, who lived as a friend to all he met as He travelled the countryside, who ate, laughed, wept and celebrated with people from all walks of life and became our saviour and pathway to our God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who rides  on the breeze through cities, towns and the countryside touching all with gentleness and love and who strengthens our commitment and who offers us eternal hope.

We believe in the Church which stands open to all travellers and bears witness to the everlasting love of Lord, Our God.

If you would like people from the community to pray for you then please submit a prayer request and it will be prayed for over the next month. You can do this anonymously or say who you are. We believe that God will journey with us whatever is going on in our lives.

If you would like people from church to pray for you, please submit a prayer request and our dedicated prayer group will pray for you.
