We Believe

Baptists are independent agitators with a history of dissent. It means that our theology and belief are and should be around discussion, debate and actively listening and discerning the 'mind of Christ'. In other words we want to find out God's agenda and get on board with it.

The Bible is of paramount importance and opens up for us the will of God which we can explore through our study and experience of Christ. The Baptist community at Normanton seeks to worship, serve others and develop disciples. The key for us is to do this through meaningful relationships with each other and the community around us.

Jesus at the centre of our lives means that we can start to work out what it means to live differently and meaningfully while serving and growing in faith.
